NX Zero is a Brazilian rock band formed in 2004 by Maxwell Augusto Passos and friends. The band has released five studio albums, with their debut album, NX Zero, reaching Gold certification in Brazil. The band is also well known for its singles such as “Razões e Emoções” and “Um anjo veio me falar”. Their latest album, A Melhor Parte De Mim, was released in 2016.

Early Life of Maxwell Augusto Passos

Maxwell Augusto Passos was born on May 13, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was interested in music from an early age and started playing the guitar at the age of 13. He formed the band NX Zero with his friends in 2004 with the intention of creating a new type of rock music that was more modern and accessible.

Career

NX Zero released their debut album, NX Zero, in 2005 to positive reviews. The album reached Gold certification in Brazil and spawned several hit singles such as “Razões e Emoções” and “Um anjo veio me falar”. The band followed up with their second album, Agora, in 2007 which was also certified Gold. They released two more albums in 2008 and 2010 before taking a break from recording and touring to focus on other projects.

Recent Projects

In 2016, NX Zero returned with their fifth studio album, A Melhor Parte De Mim. The album featured collaborations with other Brazilian musicians such as CPM 22, Pitty and Tiago Iorc. It also spawned several hit singles such as “Confiante” and “É o Que Me Interessa”. The band has continued to tour and release new music since then.

Personal Life

Maxwell Augusto Passos is currently married to his long-time girlfriend Mariana Cardoso. They have two children together, a son named Lucas and a daughter named Ana Luiza. Maxwell enjoys playing golf in his free time and is an avid fan of the Brazilian soccer team Flamengo. He is also involved in several charitable causes such as educating underprivileged children in Brazil.
