Paula Toller is a 45 year old Brazilian pop singer, songwriter and former vocalist of the rock bands Titãs and Kid Abelha. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on October 10th 1975. Paula has been a professional musician since her teenage years. She started out playing guitar in various bands in the city, before joining Titãs in 1992.

Titãs was the most successful band of the 90s in Brazil, with Paula being part of their most successful albums and singles. In 1997 she left Titãs to pursue a solo career. Her first solo album was released in 1998, titled ‘Para Quem Possa Interessar’ (For Those Who May Be Interested). The album was critically acclaimed and commercial success.

In 2001 she released her second album, ‘MTV ao Vivo Paula Toller’ (MTV Live Paula Toller). This album featured guest appearances from some of the biggest names in Brazilian music such as Daniela Mercury, Marisa Monte and Céu. The album was also a success and Paula continued to tour around Brazil.

In 2002 she returned to her rock roots when she joined Kid Abelha as their vocalist. She stayed with the band until 2005 when she decided to focus on her solo career again. Since then she has released several albums and singles which have achieved both critical and commercial success.

Paula is still actively performing live shows around Brazil. She is considered one of the best singers of her generation and has been an influence for many younger artists.
