The Early Years Paulo José da Silva, better known by his stage name PJDS, was born in 1985 in São Paulo, Brazil. Growing up in a musical family, he was exposed to a variety of sounds and styles from a young age. His father was a multi-instrumentalist who often played for friends and family gatherings, and PJDS soon developed a passion for music himself.Rising Star By the age of 16, PJDS was already writing and producing his own music. He started out playing small venues around São Paulo until he eventually gained enough recognition to perform at larger festivals. His unique combination of Latin rhythms with pop and electronic elements soon caught the attention of record labels, and in 2011 he released his debut album 'Viva La Vida'.Collaborations and Projects Since then, PJDS has gone on to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the music industry. In 2016 he worked with hip hop artist D.O.K. on the single 'Show Me Love', which went on to become an international hit. He has also collaborated with singer/songwriter Trevor Jackson on the track 'Ready To Fly'.
