Who is Pooh?

Pooh is an Italian rapper and producer born in Rome in 1984. His real name is Vincenzo Salemme and he has become one of the most acclaimed Italian rappers in recent years. He has released several solo albums but is also known for collaborating with other artists such as Federica Abbate, Gemitaiz, MadMan, and Ensi.

Early Career

Pooh started his career as a rapper in Rome's underground rap scene. After participating in a few underground rap battles, he got the attention of record labels in the mid-2000s. He recorded his debut album, “The Great Wave”, in 2006 and it was released to critical acclaim. This album included some of his most popular songs such as “Sere Nere” and “Attraverso Me”.

Rising to Stardom

After the success of his debut album, Pooh started to gain mainstream attention. He collaborated with other artists such as MadMan on their album “Non c'è 2 senza te” which was a huge success. In 2010, he released his second album “Amore o Soldi” which was even more successful than his debut album. This album spawned hits such as “Amore o Soldi”, “A Testa Altà”, and “Io e Te”.

Recent Projects

In 2017, Pooh released his third album “La Finestra” which was another success for him. This album included hits such as “La Finestra”, “So Che Ci Sei”, and “Se Mi Lasci Non Vale”. In 2019, he released the EP “Basta Poco” which featured collaborations with other artists such as Gemitaiz and Ensi. Pooh is currently working on his fourth studio album which is expected to be released in 2021.
