Pooh Shiesty is an American rapper who shot to fame with his signing to Gucci Manes 1017 Records. His lyrical flow describes the hustles of life, while his debut mixtape “Shiesty Season” reached position three on the US Billboard 200 charts. Early years Born in Memphis, Tennessee, his real name is Lontrell Dennell Williams, Jr. The rapper grew up surrounded by Hip-Hop music as his father was a rapper “Mob Boss” and founder of “Mob Tie Records” Lontrell would spend time in the studio with his father, and music was a part of his everyday life. His aka name became Pooh Shiesty, which was given to him by his late brother. He was influenced by rappers such as Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, & Gucci Mane. Forming the “Choppa Gang crew” with friends, rapping around the neighborhood, and drawing lyrics from everyday experiences. His mother moved to Pflugerville, Texas, taking her son with her. They stayed for a few years and eventually came back to Memphis. After graduating from high school, his determination to take up music as a career came to the forefront.
