Introduction to Raisa Raisa is an Indonesian pop star and singer-songwriter who has achieved immense success since coming onto the music scene in 2011. She has released three studio albums, received numerous awards, and toured around the world. Her soulful sound, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating performances have made her a fan favorite from Jakarta to London.Early Years of Raisa The Jakarta-born Raisa started singing at a young age, performing for friends and family at the age of seven. She was raised by her parents in Bandung and later moved to Jakarta to pursue a career in music. She attended Jakarta International School and graduated with honors in 2008.Rising to Fame Raisa released her debut album titled Self Titled in 2011, which earned her the prestigious AMI Award for Best New Female Artist of the Year. Her second album, Heart to Heart, was released in 2013 and included the hit single “Terjebak Nostalgia”. The album went on to become one of the best-selling records of the year.Recent Projects In 2016, Raisa released her third studio album Handmade.
