About Rhiannon Mair Rhiannon Mair is a multi-genre music artist from Wales whose passion for music began at an early age. Growing up, she studied classical piano, guitar, and percussion and explored a variety of musical genres. In 2016, Rhiannon released her first EP titled “The Dreamer”, which quickly gained traction and earned her an emerging artist nomination at the Independent Music Awards. Since then, she has released two more EPs and has been featured on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music. Career Highlights In 2020, Rhiannon released her debut album “Catch the Fire” to critical acclaim. The album features her signature blend of folk, indie-rock, and Americana influences. She has since gone on to perform at festivals across the UK including Glastonbury, The Great Escape and Hay Festival. She has also supported notable acts such as James Vincent McMorrow, Passenger, Billy Bragg and more. Collaborations Rhiannon has collaborated with a variety of artists across a number of genres including folk rockers The Staves, singer-songwriter Tom Speight, electro-pop duo Saytr Play and more. She has also written music for television series such as the Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime show “The Pack”. Awards and Accolades Rhiannon has been recognized for her work by numerous publications and organizations including The Independent Music Awards, BBC Radio Wales and NPR’s World Cafe Next. She was also nominated for the Welsh Music Prize in 2018 for her EP “Beautiful Mess”. Her songs have been streamed millions of times across streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
