Who is Sheebah?

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Sheebah was born Sheebah Karungi in Kampala, Uganda in 1989. As a child, she had a passion for music and began to write songs at an early age. In 2011, she started her career as a professional musician when she joined the all-girl group called Kampala Girls. She gained popularity through the group and also released some solo singles during this time. In 2014, she released her debut album titled ""Tukuza"", which was well-received by fans and critics alike.

In 2017, Sheebah released her second album titled ""Queen Karma"" which became a huge hit in East Africa. The album spawned the hit single ""Ice Cream"" which quickly became an anthem in Uganda and Kenya. This song not only established her as a bankable artist but also marked her official crossover from the underground music scene to mainstream success.

Sheebah has collaborated with many other artists such as Charly and Nina, Kampala Boys, and many others. Her collaborations have been well-received by fans and have helped to solidify her position as one of East Africa's premier female artists.
