Early Life & Career

Diabaté was born in Bamako, Mali, to a family of musicians. His father was a renowned musician and his mother was a singer. From an early age, he was exposed to different types of music. He learned to play the guitar from his father and started playing in local clubs when he was in high school. In 2008, he released his first album titled “Lève Lève” which was an instant hit in Mali.
