Who is South Border?
South Border is an award-winning Filipino OPM (Original Pilipino Music) band formed in 1992. The members of the band are Jay Durias (vocals and keyboards), Buddy Zabala (bass guitar), Dingdong Fiel (drums), and Vincent de Jesus (guitar). Over the years they have released many hit songs in genres ranging from pop rock ballads to acoustic folk.
Discography
South Border’s discography consists of 10 studio albums and multiple compilations. Their debut album “The Way We Do” was released in 1994 and was a major success with songs like “Rainbow” and “Kahit Kailan” topping local radio charts. In 1998 they released their second album “South Border” which featured a string of hits such as “Crazy for You”, “Love of My Life”, and “Kahit Kailan”. The album was certified platinum in both the Philippines and Malaysia.

South Border has won numerous awards over the years including two Awit Awards for Best Performance by a Group and Best Ballad Recording for their song “Kahit Kailan”. They were also awarded two NU107 Rock Awards for Favorite Song and Favorite Group. They have also been nominated for several MYX Music Awards.
