Sr. Nescau was born João Henrique de Azevedo Santos on August 9, 2004 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has been singing since the age of 4 when his father taught him how to sing in the local church choir. His passion for music grew and he started writing his own songs at an early age. In 2018, he released his debut single “Vou Cantar” which became an instant hit in Brazil and was certified gold by the Brazilian Association of Discography Producers (ABPD).

In 2019, Sr. Nescau released his second single “Tudo é Aqui” which became a hit in Brazil and charted in several countries including Mexico and Colombia. The same year he released his third single “Meu Caminho” which also became a hit in Brazil. In 2020, he released his fourth single “Não Vou Desistir” which became an instant hit in Brazil and charted in several countries including Mexico and Colombia. He has since released several other singles including “Eu Te Amo” and “Coração Ateu” which have both become popular in Brazil.

In 2021, Sr. Nescau released his debut EP “Eu Te Amo” which included the singles “Eu Te Amo” and “Coração Ateu” among other songs. The EP peaked at #5 on the Brazilian iTunes chart and was met with positive reviews from critics. He is currently working on his second EP which is expected to be released later this year.
