Early Life

Stela was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in a musical family. She began writing songs at the age of 12, influenced by artists like Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. At the age of 16, Stela enrolled in a music production class at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. There she learned about recording, engineering and music theory.

Career

After graduating from Musicians Institute, Stela decided to pursue a career in music. She began producing beats for other local artists and writing songs for various labels. In 2019, Stela released her first single “Rise” which quickly gained traction on streaming platforms. This led to her signing with independent record label, Grand Hustle Records. In 2020, Stela released her debut EP titled “Rise” which featured songs such as “Fade Away” and “Long Way Home”. The EP received critical acclaim from music critics and fans alike.
