Who Is Stresi?

Stresi is an Albanian rapper, singer and songwriter. He was born in Shkodra, Albania in 1982. His real name is Florim Gashi. Growing up in the 90s sparked his interest in hip-hop music. He started making music as a hobby and soon began performing at local clubs. In 2002 he released his first studio album titled “Rapsodia e Kalorësve” (The Rhapsody of Warriors). Since then he has released several albums and collaborated with many other Albanian artists such as Noizy, Deejay Koolt, Elgit Doda, Ermal Fejzullahu and Baboo. His songs have been featured on popular radio stations across Europe.

Style and Influences

Stresi’s style of music draws from both traditional Albanian folk music as well as modern rap music. He incorporates elements of both genres to create a unique sound that appeals to a wide range of listeners. His lyrics often contain political and social commentary on the struggles of everyday life in Albania. Many of his songs also feature themes of love and relationships.
