Who is Sushin Shyam?

Sushin Shyam is an Indian music director who works primarily in the Tamil and Malayalam film industries. He is best known for his work on the 2018 film Ethir Neechal. He has also worked on several other Tamil films such as Kadaikutty Singam (2018), Maanagaram (2017), and Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings (2016).

Early Life and Career

Sushin Shyam was born in Kerala, India. He began learning music at an early age and eventually went on to pursue a degree in music from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University in Hyderabad. After completing his studies, he moved to Chennai and began working as an assistant composer for various music directors. After gaining some experience, he made his debut as a composer in 2016 with the movie Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings. Since then, he has composed music for many other Tamil films including the 2018 film Kadaikutty Singam.

Recent Projects

In 2018, Sushin Shyam composed the music for the Tamil movie Ethir Neechal. He also composed songs for the 2019 movie Asuran. The movie was a commercial success and was widely praised by critics. In 2020, Sushin Shyam composed songs for the movie Jagame Thandhiram starring Dhanush. He is currently working on several upcoming projects including the 2021 movie Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir which stars Vijay Sethupathi.

Awards

Sushin Shyam won the Vijay Music Award for Best Music Director in 2018 for his work on Ethir Neechal. He has also been nominated for several other awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director – Tamil for his work on Kadaikutty Singam.}
