Tchami: A French DJ & Music Producer

Tchami is the stage name of Martin Bresso, a 33-year-old internationally renowned French DJ and producer. He's best known for his innovative productions and his pioneering work in the future house genre. He has released numerous original singles and remixes, collaborated with other artists and performed at festivals around the world. He has also launched his own record label, Confession.

Early Career

Bresso was born in Paris and grew up in the suburbs of Paris. He first became interested in electronic music as a teenager and soon developed an interest in DJing. He began producing his own music in 2004, but it wasn't until 2009 that he began to make a name for himself as a DJ when he released his first single “Promesses”. The track was an instant hit, becoming a favorite of many clubs and radio stations around Europe.

Success With Future House

In 2013, Tchami released the single “Shot Caller” which became an underground hit and established him as one of the leading figures in the emerging future house genre. In 2014, he released his debut EP, titled “Promesses”, which featured tracks such as “After Life” and “Untrue”. The EP was extremely well received by fans and critics alike, and cemented Tchami's position as one of the most talented producers in the scene.

Collaborations & Record Label

In 2015, Tchami began collaborating with other artists such as Malik Ninety Five, Kaleem Taylor and Stefflon Don. He has also released several successful singles and remixes which have gained millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube. In 2016, he launched his own record label called Confession which has since become one of the leading labels for future house music.

Live Performances

In addition to his studio work, Tchami is an accomplished live performer who has played at some of the biggest festivals in the world such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. He has also performed at major clubs around Europe and North America such as XOYO in London, Space Miami in Miami and Audio San Francisco in San Francisco. Tchami continues to tour extensively, bringing his unique sound to audiences around the globe.
