The Fevers: An Introduction

The Fevers are a Brazilian music group formed in the late 1960s. The original members of the group were brothers Kleiton and Kledir Ramil, both of whom were born in the city of Curitiba, in the state of Paraná. Their musical style is considered a blend of rock and samba, and they are best known for their 1970s hits such as 'Mais Feliz' and 'Mulher Rendeira'.

Kleiton Ramos (vocals, guitar) and Kledir Ramos (vocals, guitar) are the founding members of The Fevers. In 1975, bassist Paulo Márcio joined the band and remained with them until 1982 when he was replaced by bassist Carlos Bauer. In 2002, Kleiton Ramos left the band and was replaced by his brother's son, Kleber Ramil. The current lineup also includes drummer Claudio Oliveira.

The Fevers have released seven studio albums since their formation in 1969: 'Festa de Arromba' (1969), 'Amor e Festa' (1971), 'Frenesi' (1974), 'Segredos' (1976), 'Brasil em Festa' (1979), 'Onde Estão os Tamborins' (1981) and 'Todas as Cores do Amor' (1984). Their most successful singles include 'Mais Feliz', 'Mulher Rendeira' and 'Vamos Fugir'.

Collaborations with Other Artists

The Fevers have collaborated with various artists over the years including Elba Ramalho, Zé Rodrix, João Bosco, Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso. They have also performed on the popular Brazilian TV show 'Fantástico'.
