Early Life & Career Beginnings

Travis Greene was born on January 17, 1981 in South Carolina. He started singing at an early age, leading worship in his church's choir while still a child. After graduating from college he began working as a worship leader at a local church in Georgia before releasing his debut album The Hill in 2014. His album reached the top of the Billboard Gospel Albums chart and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Mainstream Success & Later Releases

In 2015 Travis Greene's single “Made A Way” reached the top of the US Gospel Airplay chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song. In 2016 he released his second album Cross Talk which also topped the Billboard Gospel Albums chart and earned him two more Grammy nominations for Best Gospel Performance/Song. His third album Crossover: Live from Music City was released in 2017 and topped both the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart and the Billboard Christian Albums chart. His fourth album Broken Record was released in 2020 to critical acclaim with singles such as “See The Light” reaching the top of the US Gospel Airplay chart.

Personal Life

Travis Greene is married to Jacqueline Greene and they have three children together. In addition to his career as a musician, he is also an ordained pastor at Forward City Church in South Carolina. He is also an active philanthropist, having founded The Greenelines Foundation which provides scholarships to underprivileged youth.}
