Virzha is an Indonesian pop singer who rose to fame after appearing in the TV show Indonesian Idol. His real name is Alfian Adhitama and he was born on August 11, 1991 in Aceh, Indonesia. He began singing at a young age and was a part of several music groups in his hometown.
Rise to Fame
In 2013, Virzha decided to audition for Indonesian Idol, an Indonesian version of the popular talent show. He performed a rendition of John Legend's “All Of Me” and advanced through each round of the competition. Eventually, Virzha made it to the finals and finished second in the competition.
Career After Indonesian Idol
After his success on Indonesian Idol, Virzha was signed by Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia and released his debut single “Aku Lelakimu” in 2014. The single became an instant hit and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of Indonesia (RIAI). He followed up with his debut album “We Are Virzha” which also achieved success and went on to become one of the best-selling albums of 2015. Since then, he has released several singles and collaborated with other artists including D'Masiv and Meghan Trainor.
