Whigfield is a Danish pop singer-songwriter born Sannie Charlotte Carlson in 1975. She is best known for her 1994 hit single “Saturday Night”, which was a top 10 hit in many countries and made her an international success. Early Life

Whigfield was born in Skælskør, Denmark and raised in Tuscany, Italy. She began her singing career at a young age, performing in talent shows and participating in local concerts. She moved back to Denmark in her late teens to pursue a music career.
