The band was founded in England by former members of Free, Mott the Hoople, and King Crimson. In 1974, the band released its self-titled debut album which featured the hit single ""Can't Get Enough"", which peaked at number five on the U.S. singles charts. The album went on to be certified five times platinum, selling over 5 million copies. Bad Company had several more hits throughout the 1970s including ""Ready for Love"", ""Shooting Star"", and ""Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy"".
