Career Beginnings
Courtney began his career as the lead singer of the indie rock band Sleepercell, who released their debut EP “This Is Not an Exit” in 2006. After the band's dissolution in 2007, he decided to pursue a solo career, signing with Island Records. His debut solo single “Glitter & Gold” was released in 2015 and reached the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart.
