Who is Białas?
Białas is a Polish rapper, singer and songwriter based in Łódź, Poland. He was born Krzysztof Białas on September 14, 1985 and began his career in the mid-2000s. He has become one of the most popular Polish hip-hop acts of all time, having released several successful albums, collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, and won multiple awards.
Early Career and Music
Białas' debut album, 'Zapach Białasa', was released in 2007 to critical acclaim and spawned the hit single 'Granice'. The album showcased the artist's unique style, combining elements of rap, hip-hop and reggae to create a sound that was both fresh and familiar. His follow-up album 'Zapach Zwycięstwa' was released in 2010 and featured collaborations with artists such as Kękę, Molesta Ewenement, Paluch, and O.S.T.R.. The album was a commercial success and cemented his reputation as one of Poland's top hip-hop acts.
Awards and Accolades
Throughout his career Białas has been recognized for his achievements by both critics and fans alike. In 2011 he won the Fryderyk award for Best Rap Album for 'Zapach Zwycięstwa'. He also won the Polityka Passport Award for Music in 2012 for his contributions to Polish hip-hop culture. In 2013 he was voted the Best Hip Hop Artist at the Eska Music Awards.
