About Blossoms
Blossoms is an English indie rock band from Stockport, Greater Manchester. The five-piece band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals and guitar), Charlie Salt (bass and backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar and backing vocals), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards). They are signed to Virgin EMI Records.
Formation & Early Years
Formed in 2013 by Ogden and Salt, Blossoms began as a cover band playing songs from Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and The Libertines. Their first gig was at The Brickyard in Carlisle on 22 June 2013. In March 2014 they released their debut single ""Blow"" as a free download. In May 2014 they released their debut EP, ""Escape Room"", which was followed by the ""Charlemagne"" EP in February 2015.
Music Career
Blossoms' self-titled debut album was released on 5 August 2016 to critical acclaim. It peaked at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart in September 2016 and was nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize. The album's second single ""Getaway"" reached number 7 on the UK Singles Chart. In October 2016, Blossoms toured the UK with The Vamps and supported The Stone Roses at Wembley Stadium in June 2017. They released their second studio album, ""Cool Like You"", on 27 April 2018. The album peaked at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart.

Blossoms have collaborated with several other artists including Romy Madley Croft of The xx, Victoria Legrand of Beach House and Gang Of Youths. They have also been featured on tracks by artists such as Dua Lipa, Clean Bandit, Rudimental, Declan McKenna and Gorgon City.
