Summary Brytiago is an Urbano singer from Puerto Rico who signed to Daddy Yankee's Cartel Label. His 2018 song "Asesina" was the track that ascended his career, and the singer has collaborated with various Latin artists. Early Days Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Brytiago's real name is Bryan Cancel Santiago. With the country being the birthplace of Reggaeton, music inspirations were endless. As a teenager, his motivations came from the pioneers of Reggaeton, artists such as Daddy Yankee, Yandel, Tego, and Don Omar. At the age of twelve, the youngster gained an opportunity to do some recordings with Puerto Rico's renowned Reggaeton producer Noriega. Sometime after, he took a back seat when his mother suggested he put music aside until he was older. Career Brytiago came back to music and began the process of writing and recording, using a friend's home studio. The first song he put out was "u Me Enamoraste". In 2016, Brytiago was introduced to Daddy Yankee through a friend. Yankee took his demo and told him he would be in touch. A few months passed, and the singer received the call. He was offered a deal with Yankee's label. Signed to Cartel, he recorded and released a string of songs, but it wasn't until 2018 that he gained his first hit with the theme "Bipolar", a collaboration with Ozuna & Chris Jeday. The track reached Billboard 100, earning the no:17 spot. The same year he put out "Asesina" with the rapper Darrel, the song was later remixed with Daddy Yankee featuring on the track.
