Caparezza is the stage name of Italian singer-songwriter and rapper Michele Salvemini. He was born in Molfetta, Italy on December 18th, 1979. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing the guitar and saxophone among other instruments. His music fuses hip hop with elements of rock, reggae and ska.
Early Career
Caparezza began his career as a performer in 1999 when he released his debut album Verità Supposte. The album was a critically acclaimed success and made him an instant celebrity in Italy. He followed up with his second album Vengo dalla Luna in 2003 which gained even more popularity than his first.
Rise to Fame
