Early Releases and Success
Cradle Of Filth's first two albums (The Principle of Evil Made Flesh and Dusk...and Her Embrace) were regarded as groundbreaking for the extreme metal genre. In 2012, Cradle Of Filth released their eighth album The Manticore and Other Horrors to critical acclaim. Their ninth album Hammer of the Witches was released in 2015 to further praise from critics.
