Early years Born Luis Antonio Lopez Flores, he was born in Concordia, Sinaloa, in 1979. One of four siblings, his parents recognized their son's natural singing ability from a young age. He attended Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez elementary school and, while there, missed some education due to an accident. Later he participated at the Venustiano Carranza High School, and his passion for music continued to flow. Winning various singing competitions, he felt a strong desire to become a professional singer; later, he took a gamble and left school to pursue his musical dream. Musical Years/Career As a singer, he gained performance experience when he joined various bands such as "La Original Banda Limón, Banda Gallo and Banda Nueva Ilusión. Between 1998 & 2009, he became a singer with Mexico's famous "La Banda el Recodo," it was a great honour and achievement for the singer. The band conquered massive achievements such as performing in Mexico's "Zocalo" square in front of over 100,000 people, touring all continents and singing at the "White House" in front of George Bush during the "Cinco De Mayo" festivities. In 2009, the singer decided to go solo under the name "El Mimoso." Incorporating various styles such as Norteño, Ranchera and Cumbia, he self–released his debut album ÁMAME, which hooked its way into Mexico's Monitor Latino Charts. "Hoy Necesito" was his debut single, which was followed by the single "Amame", the song gained radio airplay. Since then, El Mimso has continued to record singles & albums and has written for various artists such as Jenni Rivera, Julio Preciado and Saul "El Jaguar" Alarcón. El Mimoso has made his mark as one of Mexico's admired singers.
