Faydee was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1987. He grew up in a musical family and started playing guitar at a young age. He attended the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and then began his professional career as a singer-songwriter.

Faydee's first single 'Laugh Till You Cry' was released in 2011 and reached #1 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart.
