Who is Seo In Guk?

Seo In Guk (born November 23, 1987) is a South Korean singer and actor. He rose to fame after becoming the winner of Superstar K, a South Korean television talent show in 2009. Seo has since gone on to become one of the most successful singers and actors in K-Pop.

Early Career

Seo began his career by competing in various music auditions. He first competed in the MBC Teen Singer Contest at the age of 15, but he failed to make it to the finals. After high school, Seo auditioned for Superstar K, a nationwide singing competition. He ultimately won the show in 2009 and signed with Jellyfish Entertainment the same year.

Music Career

Following his win on Superstar K, Seo released his debut EP titled Just Listen in 2010. The album was met with critical acclaim and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Korea (RIAK). His follow up albums, Oh! My Gosh (2012) and BeBe (2013) were also certified platinum. Seo has also collaborated with various artists such as Kang Min Hee, Walter, Eunji, and Zion.T.

Acting Career

In addition to his successful music career, Seo is also an accomplished actor. He made his acting debut in 2012 with the drama Reply 1997 and has since gone on to star in hit television series such as Love Rain (2012) and High School King of Savvy (2014). Seo has also appeared in films such as No Breathing (2013), Perfect Proposal (2015), and The King's Case Note (2017).

Personal Life

Seo is an avid basketball fan and plays whenever he has free time. He also enjoys playing video games and spending time with his friends. Seo is known for being very humble and down-to-earth despite his success in both music and acting.
