The band consists of James Black (lead vocals and guitar), Rick Jackett (guitar and backing vocals), Sean Anderson (bass guitar) and Scott Anderson (drums). Finger Eleven has released five studio albums and is best known for their single ""Paralyzer"" from their album Them vs. You vs. Me which reached number one on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 2007.
Early Career
Finger Eleven started out as an alternative rock band in 1989 with the name Rainbow Butt Monkeys. In 1993 the name changed to Finger Eleven for their demo album Tip. The demo was recorded with independent producer Arnold Lanni and was released as a full album in 1995.
Breakthrough With ""The Greyest of Blue Skies""
Finger Eleven's second album The Greyest of Blue Skies was released in 2000 and was a huge success in Canada. It featured the singles ""Good Times"", ""Drag You Down"" and ""Quicksand"" all of which were popular rock songs in Canada. The album went platinum in Canada.
International Success With ""Them vs. You vs. Me""
Finger Eleven's third album Them vs. You vs. Me was released in 2006 and was a huge success internationally. It featured the singles ""Paralyzer"", ""Lost My Way"", and ""Talking to the Walls"". The album reached number one on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 2007. It also went gold in both Canada and the US.
