A Diverse Background in Music

Foufa's love affair with music began at an early age. She grew up listening to a variety of genres including pop, rock, hip hop, reggae and soul. From a young age, she was also very interested in the art of songwriting and composition. As she grew older, she began to take more formal lessons in music theory and songwriting. By the time she was a teenager, Foufa was writing her own music and performing it in local venues.

In 2017, Foufa released her debut EP titled “Miroir” which was a huge success in France. The EP featured six original songs which showcased her unique sound and showcased her incredible vocal range. Following the success of her EP, Foufa embarked on a tour of France which saw her perform to sold-out audiences in some of France's most iconic venues. She has since released two more EPs – “Rêver” in 2018 and “Onde” in 2020 – which have both been critically acclaimed.

As well as releasing her own music, Foufa has also collaborated with numerous other artists on their work. She has worked with French rappers such as Alonzo, Nekfeu, Vald and Niska as well as appearing on several tracks by international artists such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper.
