03 Greedo, also known as Gerald Earl Gillum, was born in 1984 in Watts, California. He is an American rapper and songwriter whose career has been on the rise since his debut mixtape “Money Changes Everything” in 2011. Greedo has collaborated with other big names in the hip-hop industry such as Chief Keef, Kamaiyah, YG, Mustard and Wiz Khalifa. His 2015 album “Money Changes Everything 2” was well received by critics and fans alike, solidifying his place in the rap game.
Early Life
Greedo was born to a single mother and grew up in the Nickerson Gardens housing projects of Watts. He first discovered his passion for rapping at a young age when he was inspired by his cousin who was a part of the rap group South Central Cartel. Greedo attended Locke High School in Los Angeles where he was known by his classmates as “Gillatine”. During this time he also started to write his own music.

In 2011 Greedo released his debut mixtape “Money Changes Everything” which caught the attention of many in the hip-hop community. After this he quickly gained popularity with singles such as “Cocaine Fever” and “Stealing”. In 2015 he released his highly acclaimed album “Money Changes Everything 2” which featured many collaborations with prominent artists. Personal Life
In 2017 Greedo was arrested and charged with drug possession and sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was released on parole in 2020 and is currently working on new music. Outside of music, Greedo loves to spend time with his family and friends.
