Early Life and Education
Case was born in 1988 in Seattle, Washington. She attended college in Washington state where she studied music. She began writing songs at a young age, and was inspired by singers such as Avril Lavigne, Paramore, and Miley Cyrus.
Career
In 2010, Case began posting covers on YouTube that quickly went viral. Her most popular cover was of Avril Lavigne's song “Complicated” which has over 14 million views. She has since released many more covers as well as original songs such as “We Were Kids” and “Runaway”. In 2016, she released an EP titled “So Much More” which featured some of her original work.
