About Ari Lasso

Ari Lasso is an Indonesian singer-songwriter who has achieved international recognition for his unique blend of pop and rock music. Born Arie Lasso in 1977, he began his music career in the mid-1990s and has since released several albums and singles. His debut album, 'Bintang' (Star), was released in 2002 and went on to become a hit in Indonesia. The album featured some of his biggest hits such as 'Ku Akan Setia', 'Terbang', and 'Karena Ku Cinta Kau'.

Collaborations

Ari has also collaborated with other Indonesian singers such as Meggi Z, Once Mekel, and Kahitna. In 2010, he released a duet with Once Mekel called 'Hari Yang Cerah' (A Bright Day) which topped the charts in Indonesia. The track was part of the soundtrack for the hit film '5cm'.

Achievements

In 2008, Ari won the Anugerah Musik Indonesia (Indonesian Music Awards) for Best Male Solo Artist. He has also won numerous other awards from various radio stations throughout Indonesia.
