Who is AwKarin?

AwKarin is a 24-year-old South Korean singer, songwriter and producer. His real name is Choi Jong-woo. He began his musical career in 2018 with the release of his debut single “Beautiful Runner”. Since then he has released several other singles and an EP titled “The Story of AwKarin”.

Early Life and Career

Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1996, AwKarin grew up listening to various genres of music like jazz, hip hop, and R&B. During his teenage years he discovered K-Pop and started to learn how to write and produce music on his own. After graduating high school, he moved to Los Angeles where he attended college and worked as a producer for a few years before returning to Korea.
