Buj aka Cerf started percussion at the age of 6 with Mamad Gavi-Helm, at the same time he studied drums, piano, trumpet, guitar, MAO as an autodidact. He returned to the national regional conservatory of Versailles where he studied classical and contemporary percussion with Sylvio Gualda, super solo timpanist of the Paris Opera. He won a first prize at the age of 20. At the same time, he learned to play the trumpet, the trombone, the piano, the guitar, clarinet... and participates in many music courses contemporary (Centre Acanthes, Inter-contemporary ensemble...). In 2002, he left to study Afro-Cuban percussion (congas, bongos, timpani, bâta..) in Cuba with Tata Guines, Changuito, Alberto Villarial, Ernesto Gatel. He regularly gives Digital Percussion master classes in Greece. (Filarmoniki Patras, Kalavrita). He was a percussionist for the national circus orchestra Alexis Gruss for over of ten years, with which he made numerous tours in Europe and for which he compose several songs. He also participates in many creations of contemporary music (Marco Bonechi, Nicole Philiba, Poptiek Pasov..) and recorded with the musicians of the Paris Opera for the solo album by Jean-Luc Montac (solo bassoon of the orchestra national of the Paris Opera). He is also a marimbist of a trio that combines contemporary music and literature. nun with Marie-Christine Barrault. He toured for 5 years with Christophe Alevêque's One Man Show "super rebel", plays and composes with the group Alevêque and its groupo, and participates in this period to many contemporary music projects: Chut, ALICE ORPHEUS, EMIGRANT, ANIMAL ORGANIC SMA RAG DA, TOUBAB ALL STARS, ROSARIO ORTEGA, SAYAG JAZZ MACHINE,LA CARAVANE PASSE ... He records the drums of the Incredible Big Band formed by Bertrand Allagnat for Universal Music France. He then co-composed the original music for the Famous show Secrets d’Histoire diffused on French TV (France 2) with Leonard Le Cloarec and Bertrand Allagnat. In 2017, he created with Laetitia Dremeau his own group EGLISE, a duo of French song, orchestral electro-pop-rock, composes and records 14 titles of an entirely self-produced debut album. Today he is a complete producer who works with many artists in France and internationally. He is the general manager of the label LE SON DE LA LANGUE located in Paris.
