Early Life

Pablo Díaz-Reixa was born in Gran Canaria in 1983. As a child he was already interested in music, playing the guitar and writing his first songs by the age of 14. He moved to Barcelona to study audiovisual communication at university and started recording his own songs in his small home studio. In 2007 he released his first album 'Alegranza!' under the name El Guincho.

Music Career

El Guincho's debut album 'Alegranza!' was released in 2007 and quickly gained recognition as one of the best Spanish albums of the year. His second album 'Pop Negro' was released in 2010 and featured collaborations with renowned artists such as Ana Tijoux and La Casa Azul.
