Introduction to Fiuk

Fiuk is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and actor who has achieved success in both Brazil and abroad. Born Felipe Augusto Felix on July 17th, 1988 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Fiuk began his career in acting at age 8 when he was cast in the children's telenovela Chiquititas. His acting career blossomed as he continued to work in television, including a role as Juca on the teen series Malhação. In 2005, Fiuk released his debut album titled Meu Mundo e Nada Mais. He continued to record music throughout his acting career, but it wasn't until his fifth album, Novo Mundo (2019), that Fiuk found international success.

Musical Career

Fiuk's music career has seen him collaborate with a variety of artists both inside and outside of Brazil. He has worked with Mahmundi, Titãs, Jota Quest, and Criolo among others. His music is a mix of pop/rock with elements of traditional Brazilian music such as samba and bossa nova. In 2019, he released the single “Frufru” which was an instant hit in Brazil and quickly spread throughout Latin America. The song was later included on his fifth album Novo Mundo. The album was a commercial success and made its way onto Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart.

Philanthropic Work

Fiuk has also been involved in philanthropic work since 2011 when he became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Brazil. Since then, he has been involved in various campaigns for UNICEF Brazil such as the Education for All campaign which promotes access to education for children around the world. He has also been involved in campaigns for other causes such as breast cancer awareness.
