Gustavo Elis is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter born on December 21, 1990. He started writing songs at the age of 11 and began producing his own music at 16. He released his first single in 2011, titled “Amor Prohibido”, which was quickly followed by several more. Gustavo has since gained a large fan base across Latin America and the US.

Early Career and Rise to Fame

Throughout the early years of his career, Gustavo released several singles and mixtapes. In 2016, he signed a deal with Sony Music Latin. That same year, he released his full-length debut album, “Un Poco de Luz”. The album featured popular singles such as “Me Llamas” featuring Ozuna and “No Te Vayas” featuring J Balvin.

Recent Projects

In 2018, Gustavo released his second studio album titled “Gente”. The album was well-received by fans, spawning several hit singles such as “Todo Se Acabo” and “Secretos”. In 2019, he released the single “Hoy Quiero” featuring Karol G. This song became one of the most streamed songs of 2019 in Latin America. Gustavo is currently working on his third album which is expected to be released in 2020.
