Biography of Jacob Latimore

Jacob O'Neal Latimore Jr. (born August 10, 1996) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He first gained recognition for his roles in the films The Maze Runner (2014) and Collateral Beauty (2016). He has since gone on to appear in many other films such as Black Nativity (2013), The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015), Sleight (2017), and The Rentals (2019).

Music Career

Latimore began his music career in 2011 with the release of his debut single ""Best Friend"". Since then he has released two extended plays (EPs): This Is Me in 2012 and Connection 2 in 2015. His debut studio album Connection was released in 2016. In 2017 he released the singles ""Myself"", ""Circles"", and ""Real Love"" from his upcoming second studio album.

Acting Career

Latimore made his acting debut in 2010 with a small role in the TV movie Our First Christmas. He went on to star in the films Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) and Black Nativity (2013). He then starred in the films The Maze Runner (2014) and its sequel The Scorch Trials (2015). His other film credits include Collateral Beauty (2016), Sleight (2017), and The Rentals (2019).

Latimore has been nominated for several awards for his work in music and film, including two Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture - Black Nativity (2014) and Collateral Beauty (2017). He also won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Young Actor in a TV Movie or Special - Our First Christmas (2010).

Personal Life

Latimore was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jacob Sr. and Shonta Latimore. He has three siblings: LaQuan Smith, Aaliyah Smith, and Caleb Smith. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is not married but is currently dating actress Keke Palmer.
