About Josh Abbott Band

The Josh Abbott Band is a Texas-based country music group led by singer-songwriter Josh Abbott. The band formed in 2006 while they were students at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and released their first album, She’s Like Texas, in 2010. Since then, the band has released several albums and singles to critical acclaim and toured extensively throughout the United States.

The current members of the band are Josh Abbott (vocals/guitar), Austin Davis (bass/vocals), Eddie Villanueva (drums/vocals), Preston Wait (fiddle/vocals) and Edward Villanueva (accordion).

Music

The band has released several albums and singles including She’s Like Texas (2010), Small Town Family Dream (2012), Tuesday Night (2014), Front Row Seat (2015) and Until My Voice Goes Out (2017). They have also collaborated with other artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Asleep At The Wheel and Randy Rogers Band.
