Joyous Celebration has also gained awards from their work, including the South African Music Award for Best Gospel Album, which they have won several times.

The group's lead singer Siyabonga Nene also received recognition from his peers when he was awarded the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards for Best Male Vocalist of the Year in 2018.
