Early Life & Musical Beginnings

Justin Vasquez was born in 1993 in Manhattan, New York. He grew up in an artistic family, with both of his parents working in the entertainment industry. From a young age he was exposed to a variety of different genres of music, which had a great influence on him. When he was 17 years old he began writing his own songs, influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Ryan Adams, and The Band.

Career

In 2015 Justin released his debut album “The Way it Is” to critical acclaim. The album featured 10 original songs and showcased his unique sound. Following this release he toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, playing clubs, venues and festivals such as Austin City Limits Music Festival and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. In 2020 Justin released his second album “American Dream”. The album features 12 original songs which blend Americana and Indie Rock. Since the release of this album he has been touring extensively throughout the US, performing at clubs, venues and festivals across the country.
