Larry Quest is a multi instrumentalist composer, electronic music producer and dj. His live act brings on stage all of the quirky elements that shape his sound. With no computer and a set of machines, he takes the audience to a fun joyful state where the body and the mind meld into one. His DJ sets are known to fill a venue with sonic wonders, ranging from Acid House to UK Breaks, connecting with people in a way that brings out their ecstatic inner youth. With releases via Jimpster’s imprint Delusions Of Grandeur (London), Wayout Records (Manchester), Ruínas (Lisbon), and his own label Log Records, he keeps his curiosity alive by exploring various ways to craft his soundscape. Revealed to the scene in his early 20s as half of LE FAMILY CLUB with a remix of Breakbot’s ‘’You Should Know’’ published on [Ed Banger] and then picked up by Dimitri From Paris for his curated compilation ‘’In The House Of Disco’’ published on [Defected Records], he’s launched his current solo adventure on a summer night of 2018 in the London East End at a Block Party in Hackney Downs. Involved in various underground projects over the years from club promotion to radio hosting (bi-monthly show ‘’Nation To Nation’’ on Radio Meuh - FR and monthly show ‘’Wayout’’ on Universal Rhythms Radio - UK), the exploration of music to dance to guided him through the night from Paris where he’s from, to London where he lived for a decade, to Lisboa where he’s now based, carving an ever-evolving discography. Inspired by the genre binding London late hours, his classical piano upbringing and rock guitar riffing were quickly overturned by the power of warehouse parties.
