Lefa is a French rapper, singer and songwriter from Paris, France. He is best known as one of the founding members of the rap group Sexion d'Assaut. He has released two solo albums and collaborated with many other artists including Soprano, Maître Gims, Vitaa, Dany Synthé, Keblack and KeBlack.
Career Beginnings
Lefa began his rap career at the age of 16 when he founded the rap group Sexion d'Assaut with his friends. The group released their first album in 2002 and have since gone on to become one of the most successful hip-hop groups in France. In 2011, Lefa released his debut solo album titled “L’âge des merveilles”. The album was a commercial success and spawned several hit singles including “Je te souhaite” and “Les mots qui sont des larmes”. In 2015, Lefa released his second solo album titled “Au-Delà De Mes Limites” which also became a commercial success.
Collaborations
Throughout his career Lefa has collaborated with many other artists including Keblack, KeBlack and Dany Synthé. In 2020, he collaborated with Maître Gims on the single “Reste” which became a major hit in France. He has also collaborated with Vitaa on multiple songs such as “Toujours Pas D'Amour” and “Tu Me Manques”.
