Londonbeat is a British band formed in 1988 by Jimmy Chambers, George Chandler, Jimmy Helms and William Henshall. The group is best known for their hit single ""I've Been Thinking About You"", which topped the charts in countries across the world. They have also released several successful albums over the years, including Keep It Comin' (1990), Londonbeat (1991), In The Blood (1993) and Speak (1995).

Career Highlights

Londonbeat's first single ""You Bring On The Sun"" was released in 1989 and became a Top 40 hit. This was followed by their breakthrough single ""I've Been Thinking About You"", which peaked at number one in the UK Singles Chart and remained there for three weeks. The song also topped the charts in Australia, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and Switzerland. In 1991, Londonbeat released their self-titled debut album, which reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and was certified Gold. Their follow-up album Keep It Comin' was released in 1992 and reached number six in the UK Albums Chart. The album featured the singles ""A Better Love"" and ""Come Back"", both of which became Top 10 hits in the UK.

Collaborations

Londonbeat have collaborated with many other artists over the years, including rapper MC Lyte on the single ""Everytime You Come Around"". They have also collaborated with reggae artist Shaggy on ""Tender Love"" and with German DJ Sash! on ""Take Me To The Moon"".
