Who is Louane?

Louane is a French singer and songwriter born Anne Peichert in 1996. She gained wide recognition after taking part in The Voice: la plus belle voix, a television singing competition, in 2013. Since then, Louane has gone on to become one of France's most successful artists with numerous hit singles and two studio albums.

Early Life

Anne Peichert was born in Hénin-Beaumont, France on November 26th, 1996. She began her career as an actress at the age of 14, appearing in several films including Les Chansons d'amour and La Famille Bélier. It was during this time that Anne developed an interest in music and began to pursue it as a career.

Career Breakthrough

In 2013, Anne auditioned for The Voice: la plus belle voix under the stage name Louane. Her powerful vocals impressed the judges and audience alike, resulting in her being chosen for the show's final four contestants. Louane finished as runner-up in the competition but this was only the beginning of her music career.

Success & Recognition

Louane has since released two studio albums; Chambre 12 (2015) and Joie de vivre (2020). Both albums were well received by fans and critics alike and spawned several hit singles. In addition to her solo work, Louane has collaborated with some of France's biggest stars such as Calogero, M. Pokora and Julien Doré.
