LRMS is an urban pop group created in 2020 by Louis Romao and Margot Soria. Filmic orchestrations, urban rhythms and protean texts form the basis of this duo. Louis composes and arranges, Margot gives substance to his texts and his compositions by her voice with a suave and "auto-tune" precision.

Biographie

LRMS is an urban pop duoc by Louis Romao and Margot Soria. Today they released their eponymous debut EP together. The fusion of sound spaces is at the heart of this project, having found the right balance between rap, French song and electro. Poetic and rhythmic, borrowing all the codes of current rap, LRMS EP is daring. He embodies modernity, where elegant texts come to mix with very recognizable rhythms straight from Atlanta: a sweet mix of trap-house and orchestrated French variety. Margot Soria is a singer. Graduated from the Regional and Departmental Conservatory of Bobigny in Jazz Vocal and the CRR de Montpellier in Contemporary Dance, she is a accustomed to the stage, obsessed with vocal harmonies. Chorus-singer for 3 years in the urban choir "Sankofa Unit", she has the opportunity to accompany artists like Shaka Ponk, Shy’m, Hélène Ségara, Laurent Voulzy, Matthieu Chedid, Marc Lavoine and Dedrick Bonner in venues such as Bercy, Le Trianon, Olympia, Palais des Glaces, The Grand Rex. She also performs on television sets like those of The Voice, Taratata, 300 Chœurs, Alcaline or L’Eurovision and is spotted by the Belgian group electro The Wickeed who offers him to put his voice on the track "From The Top" during their live promotion for the "Club Riviera" Label. Louis Romao is a songwriter born in 1993 in Paris. This franco-portuguese musician has been forging his sonic and literary identity, since childhood. He learned the piano very early and perfected his apprenticeship at the CIM in Paris, with renowned musicians such as Michel Valera (guitarist of Henri Salvador from 1989 to 1995), and developed his knowledge of computer music and writing vocal at school "Y a d'la voix !". Louis handles words as well as sounds. From the height of his 28 years, he has already won several prizes at the biggest poetry competition of the Francophonie “Poésie en Liberté” and has been collaborating since the end of his studies on numerous documentaries and commercials, for France Television. Inspired by composers such as Joe Hisaishi, Hans Zimmer, Alexandre Desplat or Yoko Shimomura, he developed an orchestral style imbued with nostalgic poetry and Hollywood power, polymorphic and coherent in all its productions.
