Marina Karamarko is always playing from the heart with the tendency to spread all over you and into you with a mission to leave you with a full heart before going home. With her unique style and charisma, she instantly won the dance floor. It all started back In 2005. when she decided to transform the love for music into a life's passion. After some summer residencies where she crafted her skills, she was sure this is the career she wanted to pursue. Her capacity to understand the music, its layers and her natural ability to entertain and connect, gained her huge respect from her colleagues and dancing crowd who appreciate her sincerity, openness and the fact that she's simple and approachable, loving what she does. In 2008. she gained an Audio Engineering Diploma at SAE University. In 2012. Marina joined Innocent Music label and played a lot of events under their organization. She also signed with labels such as Get Physical, Baile Musik, Deep Tech Records, Albatory, 12+1 London, Frequenza, Draft, just to name a few…and of course on her own label THANQ Music. In 2013. she won the Croatian finale of the Burn Studios Residency contest and manage to get a full summer residency on Ibiza at Sankeys Ibiza w. Steve Lawler and his Viva Warriors Nights. Continuing also in 2014. playing at Sankeys for Viva Warriors nights. In 2014. First gigs in London and Manchester followed by a first USA tour, playing in New York, Miami and Orlando. Appearances also on Sonar OFF followed by Germany gigs at Bukowski, Kit Kat and R19. 2015. was a big year for her, while celebrating the 10 years behind the decks with a launch of her own label called THANQ, which idea was to start a wave of gratitude around her, that Sumer 2015 she also performed first time at Sonus Festival Croatia warming up for John Digweed. 2016. Beatport selected her track “Wait a second” for the chart “VISIONARY WOMEN OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC”. Also her label THANQ was charted on the Breakthrough Labels of the Year Chart. She was noticed by Unusual Suspects guys from Ibiza who not only kept her as a resident but took her under their agency MBF Management and had her play shows around Italy, Spain, UK and France. 2017. First Colombia tour with shows at Medellin and Cali, next to gigs at Panama, Bahamas, San Francisco, Denver and Orlando. She also played festivals like Sonus Festival, Sea Star Festival, SDF Festival, WeLoveSound Festival, Slurp Festival and few others. Third year in a row, she won an award for Best Deep-Tech House Dj in Croatia by Ambassador project by Klubska Scena. Her Remix for Andrea Ljekaj was voted as the best remix in the year 2021. The idea of creating a brand recognizable by the quality and positive vibrations was cooking for so long but now ThanQ Music is already established as a unique and very respected label, while Marina is busier than ever, with a full gig schedule and a bunch of great releases coming your way.
