MC Meno K is a hip-hop artist from Mexico City, Mexico. He is best known for his single “Gangsta Life” and has been gaining recognition in the Latin American hip-hop scene for his unique sound and style. He was born Miguel Angel Lopez in 1993 and has been making music since he was a teenager.

Early Life & Career Beginnings

From a young age, MC Meno K was drawn to the sound of hip-hop, particularly the West Coast rap of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. At age 16, he started producing beats in his bedroom and by 17 had already released his first single. In 2011, he released his debut album “Gangsta Life” which quickly gained traction in Mexico City’s underground rap scene.

Rise to Fame

In 2013, MC Meno K released his second album “The King of the Streets” which featured collaborations with well-known Latin American hip-hop artists such as DJ X-Treme and Kamikaze B. The album was an instant hit, reaching number two on the Mexican album charts and spawning several hit singles. In 2017, he signed with Boomplay Music and released his third album “On My Own” which reached the top 10 on both the Mexican and United States billboard charts.

MC Meno K’s music is heavily influenced by West Coast rap and G-Funk beats. His lyrics often incorporate Mexican slang as well as English phrases. He has said that he draws inspiration from street culture and everyday life experiences.
